Antique EAPG US Glass FLOWER WITH CANE Covered Butter Dish Diamond Gold
Antique EAPG Glass Covered Butter Dish in the Flower with Cane Pattern by US Glass. This pattern dates to 1912 and was also known as Diamond Gold.
Measures approximately 6 inches tall to the top of its lid finial. Without the lid attached, the base butter dish alone stands 1-1/2 inches tall and 8 inches across from scallop to scallop. The interior rim (where the butter slab will sit) is approximately 4-1/4 inches at its interior diameter.
This piece is in remarkable condition considering that it is 108 years old! The only damage that we find is as follows: there are some fleabites on the pointed parts of the lid finial, and a line of very shallow fleabites or old smooth chips on the interior rim where the butter sits in the base dish. There is wear to the ruby stain as can be seen in our photos.
Weighs approximately 2 pounds 3 ounces before being packaged appropriately for shipping.
