Antique EAPG Paneled Honeycomb Milk Water Pitcher with Metal Lid Cube Blocks

  • $ 3995

Milk or Syrup Sauce Pitcher with in Tact Metal Lid, EAPG Pattern Glass in the Paneled Honeycomb Pattern, Maker has never been Ascertained for this Rare Pattern. It is guessed to be dated back to the late 1880s. The pattern features a line of cube embossed blocks alternating between a panel of raised vines. The metal lid is held in place by two pins that fit into the holes on opposite sides of the rim. The lid opens and closes well and operates as it should.

Unfortunately, the base of this piece has damage. There is one large chip, another smaller chip, and then also a small chip just at the edge rim. There is also what looks to be a straw mark visible on the top of this piece near the rim. This can be felt on one side, so it may be an old scratch to the glass. Surprisingly for the age of this piece, the handle and the rim remain in good condition with no damage that can be seen or felt. We have additional photos listed below this description.
