Antique EAPG Adams No. 300 CLEAR RIBBON Cake Stand Salver 1881
Cake Stand or Salver in the Clear Ribbon Pattern by Adams & Co., thought to be dated to 1881. There is not a lot known about this pattern, but it has become known as pattern number 300 by Adams & Co,
Measures approximately 7-3/4 inches tall and 10 inches across at its top rim. The scalloped base measures approximately 6 inches across diagonally from foot to foot.
It presents beautifully and is in good condition considering that it is 138 years old! However, there is damage to report: there are small chips on the side of the top rim, on the feet, and the scalloped base rim. We feel fleabites or nics to the glass on the top rim. The glass remains clear with areas of light scuffing from use. This cake stand would have originally come with gold leaves in the foot, but those are long gone.
Weighs approximately 3 pounds 11 ounces before being packaged appropriately for shipping.
